DUCATI RIDER TRAINING SCHEME IS GO!

The recently launched Ducati Rider Training scheme produced our first successful student in the shape of Lee Watkeys.
Lee had decided it was time to treat himself and fullfil his ambition to learn to ride. He called in to our Ducati Coventry showroom having heard the local radio adverts promoting the rider training scheme, we introduced Lee to the wonderful world of Ducati and told him all he needed to know to get him up and running.
Feeling confident Lee bit the bullet and decided to buy a new Ducati Monster 696 there and then in anticipation of passing his test.
We teamed Lee up with our local nominated rider training school and he was soon out on the road taking lessons on our Ducati Coventry Monster 696 training bike.
With his training structured over 5 consecutive days, Lee was ready to take his test, he passed with flying colours and came to collect his Ducati Monster 696 the same day.
Congratulations to Lee on fulfiling his ambition and becoming the proud owner of his new Ducati, we wish many happy miles of motorcycling.

Misano Circuit: Seventy-three days after an operation to his right shoulder, Valentino Rossi returned to the track at Misano Adriatico aboard a Ducati 1198 Superbike. On November 14 at Cattolica’s Cervesi hospital, the Italian had undergone surgery on the supraspinatus tendon and the long head of biceps tendon, as well as cartilage in the Glenoid Labrum.

Buildbase/JHP Racing's Darren Fry recorded a brace of firsts at the Silverstone National circuit in what was the first round of the Ducati 848 Challenge. Starting from a pole position gained in drying conditions in qualifying, Fry went on to take both race wins from Buildbase team mate Leon Morris who was placed second in both races, followed by Mark Cheetham who was third in both races.
