BIKE HISTORY
John's first bike was a 125cc BSA Bantam race bike which he built at the age of 14 whilst still at school. 3 days after his 16th birthday John finished third in his very first race meeting in the open 125cc final. During that first race season the bike was timed at 94 mph. Not bad for an ex GPO bike built by a school kid. However he does recall one or two crashes that year!!

Over many years John has owned various makes and models including Yamaha road & race bikes, Honda, Suzuki, Kawasaki, BMW, Gilera, MV Agusta, Triumph, and of course Ducati.

At present John owns the following bikes an original Honda Monkey bike, Honda T70, Honda MotoCompo folding mini bike, Yamaha TZ250A 1973 race bike, Yamaha TZ250J 1981, Ducati Cucciolo 1949, 1995 570cc Ducati Supermono No8 (Favourite) and John has just re-acquired one of his old best friends his 1994 888 Ducati Corsa which is under restoration in our workshops at the moment.
